Synopsis
Just as it is found and frequented today, Bairro Alto is far away from the motioneless place in time that, not so long ago, people would avoid more than visit. The neighborhood could only count on public distrust, the curiosity of the tourists or on a certain bohemian spirit. The preservation of the resident population and the traditional trade has been able to live side by side with the new inhabitants and the bakeries, typographies, grocery shops, taverns, alternative shops, bars and restaurants.
