








Synopsis
In the post revolutionary Lisbon of the mid 70's two young activists fall in love. Belgian Lieve Meersschaert and Azorian Eduardo Pontes decide to settle in the Cova da Moura recent neighbourhood. This island in the suburbs of Lisbon is a community of African migrants, and portuguese forced to return from Portugal's former colonies. Throughout the years Lieve and Eduardo are at the helm of a collective fight for running water, literacy, democracy and legalization, going head to head with powerful institutions, mediatic hysteria and criminality within the community.
