Synopsis
Documentary about the work and life of António Ole, one of the most notable contemporary artists from Angola.
"Stop Don't Stop" is a documentary about the survival of a space and the people who inhabit it. A shopping mall, built in the early 80's, was once the second biggest mall in the city of Porto, today is transformed in a music territory, a cult place, a gigantic improvised musical studio. With about half a dozen stores still open, the ones who managed to survive the emerging of bigger shopping malls, Stop mall remains alive thanks to an attentive landlord who managed to transform a forgotten mall in a place of work for more than 100 bands and 400 musicians that rehearse there regularly, distributed through three storeys, in windowed stores that are rented by the month for a symbolic price, without the necessary sound enclosure.
