Synopsis

The film tries to tell the History between April 25th 1974 and November 25th 1975, as it was felt by the crew that, throughout this period, was at the same time spectator, actor, participant, but that, most of all, found themselves completely commited to the revolutionary process that was happening.

Series of 3 short-movies. In 1795, the employee of São Pedro da Cova's priest, while digging at Quinta dos Valinhos, found coal. For the people of this village, the most dramating period of their lives was about to begin. The coal mines and their consequences have delevoped a series of events that are still felt in the present day.The mines were closed in 1970. Many lives were destroyed and the health of the miners suffered irreversible damages. These mines left ruin, hunger, unemployment, misery and analphabetism behind.

From Salazar's famous speech in 1936, this movie wants to show, in an educated fashion, the fascist regime foundations during its 48 years of existence until April 25th 1974.
